We are learning about onomatopoeia which are words that make sounds for example like whoosh and bang. We made some cool chalk drawings check out our photos….

We have been looking at some old fashioned games.

This term our focus is “Past, present, future’ and for this we are looking at communication and how we used to communicate and how we communicate now. Here’s some photos of us communicating and having conversations on telephones and cellphones.

Some days beautiful creations turn up on my wall to surprise me! This is why I love teaching. It’s all about the tamariki. The tamariki in Room 7 are so caring and thoughtful, they always think of me and offer me the most precious gifts and write me the sweetest notes. I absolutely adore you all Room 7!

We were very lucky today to meet the beautiful baby Abel. Mrs Lunjevich came to visit with her 7 week old son for us all to meet. We were very excited and had interesting questions to ask her. We can’t wait for them to visit us again!

Today I did some gymnastics at school it was fun.

Miriana made a story for us and she came to read it to us in Room 7. It was a cool story!

On Saturday we went to soccer we won 7 nil-Tahi

It was awesome for me (Miss Smaill) to see all the tamariki from Room 7 and Ahipara School play soccer. I really enjoyed myself! Ka pai to mahi tamariki!

We were learning about length. We ordered ourselves tallest to shortest -Ngarui.
